This session will explore an innovative postgraduate readiness model designed to equip students to succeed in college, careers, and life through rigorous academic courses and experiential learning. Participants will learn how postgraduate students engage in developmentally appropriate coursework that elevates reading comprehension, promotes effective study habits, strengthen academic writing, introduces advanced-level research using APA citation, and teaches students how to publicly defend their research. Additionally, participants will learn of a current model that integrates experiential learning through student management of a school store. Strong focus on operations management, customer service, inventory, budgeting, showing how students can connect what is learned in the classroom to future career paths.
