Leaders often judge effectiveness through plans and outcomes. Students, however, experience leadership through the clarity of expectations, the consistency of learning, and the coherence of adult practice across their school.
This session explores leadership alignment through the lens of student experience. Grounded in the NEASC Framework for High Quality Learning, it considers how leadership decisions related to strategy, culture, and routines are felt, often invisibly, in classrooms. When leadership is aligned, students experience coherence and purpose.
Drawing on their own experience, participants will examine how leadership behaviors shape the conditions of daily learning and consider student experience as a design constraint for leadership decisions. Participants will leave with practical ways to use student perspective to strengthen leadership coherence.
