2026 NEASC Leadership Conference

Instructional Leadership Teams (ILTs) are only as effective as the leaders who run them- and leaders are only as effective as the self-awareness and trust they bring to the work. Rooted in Brené Brown’s principle that “who we are is how we lead,” this interactive session explores the intersection of inner leadership work and practical team systems.

Participants will examine how vulnerability, trust, and values clarity within a leadership team directly shape the quality of instructional decision-making — and the learning experiences students receive. Through structured reflection, a team diagnostic tool, and small group discussion, participants will explore what it means to lead with both courage and coherence.

Participants leave with a personal leadership reflection, a team trust assessment, and a concrete next step for their ILT.
